Seniors, families and community members can find the support they need to make facing the challenges in life and relationships easier to manage. Ponoka Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) offers a range of services to our neighbours in need who live in Ponoka and Ponoka County.
Ponoka FCSS offers Home Care & Home Support. These services are designed to help seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence in their houses and improve their quality of life. You or your loved ones can also access Lifeline, which is a personal emergency response system that allows individuals to call for help in the event of an emergency.
We also provide family counselling services, which are designed to help families cope with a variety of issues, such as relationship problems, parenting challenges, and mental health concerns.
In addition, Ponoka FCSS works with our partners to coordinate HandiVan, a transportation service for seniors and individuals with disabilities to get to where they need to be. You can also access our income tax program to help you prepare for filing your taxes.
