Available Positions

 Home Care Assistant Manager Wetaskiwin, Maternity Leave Coverage - coordinates the Home Care Program within the Local Geographical Area (LGA) assigned, which includes all aspects of staffing, meeting clients' needs, and improving the quality of care within the scope of the home care contract with  Assisted Living Alberta (ALA)  (formerly Alberta Health Services (AHS).) Position: 1.0 FTE 35 hrs per week.

As one of the main contacts for staff, this position is also responsible for providing proactive and strategic human resources support, advice, and expertise, as well as providing direction, team leadership and organization through interpretations of policies and procedures and resolution of issues to ensure effective and efficient operations of daily activities. Please email shannon(at)ponokafcss.net for further information. or check out the position ad on Indeed. 

Human Resource Coordinator supports the effective functioning of the HR department by administering human resource policies, practices, and procedures. The role involves managing employee relations, supporting recruitment and onboarding, overseeing compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Officer also plays a key role in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and proactive mitigation of workplace issues to maintain a productive and respectful workplace.
