Management

Shannon Boyce-Campbell is the Executive Director of Ponoka FCSS. She has over 25 years experience in the social work environment and has worked with several grassroots organizations to identify gaps in services and collaborate to find solutions.

Shannon reports to the Board of Directors and is held accountable for the organizations' continued achievement of our mission and financial objectives.

Home Services Coordinators

Kerry organizes the schedules for clients and staff for personal care. She is the liaison between the health care nurses, the front-line workers, the clients and the housing facilities.

Kerry can answer any questions you may have on how to obtain home services, what services are available and whether you are eligible for financial assistance.

Program & Home Support Coordinator

Shelly is the person to talk to if you are interested in having LifeLine installed, need Meals on Wheels, want assistance with home support (house cleaning) or require information on how to complete forms for financial assistance. She will also help with filling out forms or if you would like to become a volunteer.

Shelly arranges all our events, classes and volunteer opportunities. She is always looking for new ideas and is interested in hearing from community members who wish to get involved.

Office Manager & Payroll Clerk

Shannon Epp is the smiling face you will sometimes see when you walk through the door. She can answer any questions you might have on billing, direct you to who you might need to talk to and will help in any manner she can. Shannon also looks after payroll for the agency.

Receptionist & Administrative Assistant

Melissa is our part-time receptionist. When Melissa is not at the front desk answering the phone and questions from our clients, and generally helping whoever needs help, Shannon Epp takes on the role. Melissa also assists with administrative tasks for the agency.

Field Staff

These are the front-line workers.  They are the ones that come into your home and help you out with what needs to be done whether it is personal care or washing floors. They are too numerous to name but they all do their job with care and compassion.  They are trained and experienced at enabling people to stay in their homes and remain as independent as possible.  They are a great source of information.

The Board

Ponoka FCSS is a not-for-profit organization and has a Board of Directors who are responsible for ensuring that the rules and regulations are followed.  One representative from the Town of Ponoka (Sandra Lyon) and one representative from Ponoka County (Mark Matejka) sit on the board.  The other eight board members (Marvin Beier, Dennie Hycha, Audrey Velie, Shelly Brake, Karin Starr, Adam Smith, Donna Hammond and Hannah Barrett) are all volunteers who believe strongly in the vision and mission of Ponoka FCSS. 

The Board Chair is Dennie and if you have something you wish to discuss with the board she would be happy to hear from you.
